Nicolas is a co-founder, Managing Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Bezant Technologies. At Bezant, he leads the architecture and development of a next-generation trading platform that predicts market behaviors across multiple digital assets using Machine Learning and Data Science techniques. Prior to Bezant Nicolas was a founding team member and head of data science at TruSTAR Technology, a cybersecurity company specialized in building Intelligence Management products. TruSTAR was acquired by Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK). At TruSTAR, Nicolas led the company's data science team and delivered market leading features that leverage analytics and machine learning. Nicolas received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University specializing in Flow Physics, Computational Engineering, and Uncertainty Quantification. After spending 10 years in the Bay Area, Nicolas and his wife decided to settle in New York.

Stephen Parlett is CIO at Bezant Technologies. He is a FinTech Advisor for Linqto and Parkside Securities. Stephen is a former Partner, Director and Portfolio Manager at Citadel. At Citadel, he led a long/short equity team investing in Communication Services, Media, Internet, Payments and Leisure and Lodging industries. During his 13 years at Citadel, Stephen was involved in all facets of the investment process including hiring, training, research, stock selection, portfolio construction, risk management and performance attribution. He was selected as a "Top Gun Investment Mind" by Bretton Woods for TMT in 2015. Prior to Citadel, Stephen was an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Montgomery Asset Management through its acquisition by Wells Capital Management in 2002. Stephen is a Chartered Financial Analyst ('96). Stephen's volunteer efforts include being on the Board of Directors at Students Rising Above and guest lecturing and coaching the Investment Club and CFA Institute Research Challenge at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA.
Stephen Parlett
Jeff is an COO and member of the Investment Committee at Bezant Technologies. Jeff brings 20 years of experience as a partner for multi-billion dollar hedge funds. Most recently, Jeff was partner at Criterion Capital, a $3B hedge fund that primarily invested in TMT and alternative energy class companies. During his tenure with Criterion, Jeff was responsible for trading, risk management IT, Legal, budget, and contract negotiations for all vendor relationships, as well as serving as a member of several internal committees, including trading department management, risk report creation/distribution, custom hedging tools development/deployment, and portfolio management/execution.
Jeff began his career as one of the first 15 employees at E*Trade Securities in 1995.. Jeff then joined his first hedge fund, Standard Pacific Capital and subsequently Criterion Management. He spent 10 years at Criterion managing trading and risk globally. The fund grew from $128MM in assets upon his arrival to $4B at his departure.

Dhruv is co-founder, equity partner and member of the Investment Committee at Bezant Technologies. Dhruv is a four-time tech founder and investor/board member of high-growth companies. Dhruv has previously (co)founded/owned Aktivate, Exubrancy, Panier and Savory; he has also served as a board member/observer to six venture-backed companies; and is a shareholder in 25+ venture-backed companies. Prior to focusing on early stage companies, Dhruv was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company (New York). Dhruv is also a board advisor at GiveDirectly and at Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a concentration with high honors in Economics. He also studied at Wharton and the engineering school at UPenn as a part of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology and Choate Rosemary Hall. He lives in Tuxedo Park, NY with his wife Elizabeth (also an entrepreneur!) and daughters Emilia and Serena.
